Summer check-in

Greetings family, friends, and readers!

Hope this update finds you well. Perhaps you’re enjoying some travel or just a bit of down time with the family. Wherever you are, I hope you’re keeping cool!

I’ve taken one trip up to the Pacific Northwest with the kids (17 and 13) and have another planned to the East Coast with my sweetheart of seven months.

As I mentioned previously, Ace on the Hill will be re-released next month as a Second Edition. Do I expect you to read it or buy it again? No. But if you could all join together and give me an “Attaboy” on the count of three, that would make my day! 😅 Kidding aside, what you might appreciate is the new cover design by my

original designer--the very talented Christian Bentulan. There are also some new and revised scenes which I think make this draft leaner, meaner, and utterly

superior to the original.

Meanwhile, I’m chugging along on my supernatural thriller, Guardian Son. My tentative pitch line is ”When we’re confronted with our innner demons, it’s never

pretty.” 😱

If you’ve read any great books, please feel free to share those titles. I’ve recently finished I Will Find You by Harlan Coben and The Edge by David Baldacci. Currently

I’m engrossed in Don Winslow’s City of Ruins. All fun, intriguing reads. Next up, Friends in Low Places by friend and fellow author, Vince Wetzel. Speaking of Vince,

I was recently interviewed on his substack. If you’re interested, please check out the Q&A here:

Thank you, as always, for your support. Enjoy the rest of your summer!
