Updates

Hi again. Well, it's been an eventful week or so. As many of you know, Ace on the Hill was selected by Reedsy Discovery as a pick of the week (one of just 3 books) for their September 22 newsletter (issue # 236). It was quite a thrill to open up an email addressed to me...that led with a recommendation about a book written by me 😆.

In other news, I've decided to publish a hard cover of Ace on the Hill through Amazon. I'm not quite sure why I didn't do this from the start...I guess I wanted to keep the options for customers. The new book will feature a slightly different cover design and blurb and it should be available by the end of the week. I don't know if I'd call it a collector's item, but should be an interesting "new" edition. The cost for the hardcover is $14.99 (that's what I have to pay, as well, to receive my copy, just fyi). Meanwhile, I revised my distribution parameters so my book is now available via paperback in the UK. For some reason, this led to a price increase on the paperback price here domestically 🤔 (Please know that I always set the lowest price for my book that Amazon allows). On that note, I am permitted to initiate certain "incentives" during my 3 month enrollment period with Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP.). Having said that, you (or neighbors, or co-workers, or any potential readers) can expect a price reduction SOON on Kindle copies of Ace on the Hill (a Kindle Countdown Deal). You have my word that you, faithful mailing list readers, will get the news first. ☝🏻 Please keep checking back.

Last, I have begun my second novel. I have a working title but not ready to share just yet. I can tell you it's something completely different...a supernatural thriller. I'm still a Stephen King fan and his works have inspired this latest effort. How's that for suspense?
